Pic 79:    The first square sail in position. This sail is particularly difficult to align accurately because eight different ropes affect it, and I got to the bizarre stage of pulling on one side and watching the yard move in the opposite direction!

I later decided to furl this sail (like the lower sails on the fore and main masts) because it obscured the front view of the model, which was too impressive to leave covered up.
